12 Plus’ mission is to not only ensure students continue their education beyond the 12th grade but also provide the tools and guidance necessary to independently and successfully navigate through life. 12Plus helps to empower and equip all young adults to become community change agents by pursuing life-long learning through post-secondary education and career development. I volunteer my time and speak to students at events such as Career day.

Through their employment training program, they support young adults who have histories in the foster care system. As a supportive space to learn and grow, they provide paid work experience with intentional training and coaching. Their goal is to help under-resourced young adults acquire the confidence and skills they need to transition into healthy adulthood with thriving careers.

Legacy of Hope is a Philly organization that helps cancer patients find new cures and receive emergency patient support. They partner with hospitals and local groups to assist financially-struggling patients who have no other options. Additionally, they fund cancer research by using the expertise of Philly's top researchers to select and support promising scientists. With a focus on expediting new cures and making a meaningful difference in cancer treatment, Legacy of Hope is an important resource for Philadelphia's cancer patients. I volunteer my time and help fundraise for them.
